TRAVIS BLANKENSHIP
Travis Blankenship is a 22 year veteran law enforcement officer and owner of Threat Assessment Consultants, LLC. Travis is married and has two children. He has extensive experience in tactical operations, tactical command, criminal investigations, narcotics, and crisis response protocol. Travis obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Lindenwood University. He has over 3500 hours of specialized law enforcement training and certifications. He is a certified instructor for the National Tactical Officers Association, the Missouri Sheriff’s Association, and the Police Officer Standards and Training Commission (POST). Travis is an instructor and training partner with East Central College. Travis has developed TAC utilizing his mission of “being prepared” to mitigate the damage of active shooters and domestic terrorists in our society today. Travis and his team of experts have worked diligently to develop interactive training, assessment, and crisis planning programs for corporate and educational institutions. Travis insures that TAC’s programs are designed to be current with modern and historical violence tendencies.
JOHN BISER
John Biser is a veteran law enforcement officer with fifteen years experience. As a Detective Sergeant, John currently supervises investigations, lie detector examinations, computer networks, mobile data terminals, wireless bridges, security video services, report management systems, and criminal intelligence databases. He is a graduate of Missouri Technical College, receiving his degree in Electronic Engineering. John is a certified instructor in Drug Recognition, Standardized Field Sobriety, Response to Active Shooter, Simunition / Scenario Development, Tactical Response to Vehicle Stops, and Less than Lethal Force Weapons. Sgt. Biser is a Hostage Negotiator, Emergency Medical Technician, and a five year investigator of the St. Louis Area Major Case Squad. Sgt. Biser’s investigative position allows him to foster working relationships with agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives, Secret Service, Internal Revenue Service, and Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
